Dr. Heather

Movement Specialist. Performance Educator. Corrective Exercise Coach.

I'm Dr. Heather — a movement specialist and performance educator who helps athletes and active adults resolve pain at the root, correct the imbalances holding them back, and build bodies that are resilient, efficient, and built to perform.

I no longer practice chiropractic care. Instead, I focus on what consistently creates the biggest long‑term change for athletes: understanding movement, restoring balance, and training the body to work the way it was designed to work.

This shift wasn’t stepping away from impact — it was stepping closer to it.

Why I Do This

My story with movement didn’t begin in a clinic — it began as an injured athlete.

As a young competitive softball player, I experienced firsthand how frustrating, scary, and limiting pain can feel when you don’t understand why your body isn’t cooperating. That experience sparked a lifelong obsession with learning how the body adapts, compensates, and heals.

Over the next two decades, I immersed myself in movement science, biomechanics, strength training, and neuromuscular control — working with athletes of all levels and seeing a clear pattern:

Pain and performance issues are rarely random. They’re almost always the result of imbalance, inefficient movement, and poor communication between the brain and the body.

And until those patterns are addressed, pain relief alone isn’t enough.

What I Do Now

Today, I help athletes move better so they can train better — without relying on adjustments, passive treatments, or quick fixes.

Through virtual coaching, education, and corrective programming, I teach athletes how to:

Identify and correct muscle and movement imbalances

Improve coordination, stability, and efficiency

Reduce injury risk while increasing performance

Build strength that actually transfers to sport and life

Understand their own body instead of fearing it

This is not rehab. It’s not random workouts. And it’s not guesswork.

It’s intentional, individualized movement training rooted in how the nervous system and musculoskeletal system work together.

Who This Is For

My work is for:

💢 Runners who want to stay healthy while training consistently

💢 Athletes stuck in recurring pain cycles

💢 Active adults who feel limited by old injuries or compensation patterns

💢 People who want to understand why their body feels the way it does — not just mask symptoms

If you’re willing to learn, move with intention, and take ownership of your performance, this approach works.

What Makes This Different

💥 Education‑first approach – You’ll learn why something hurts and how to change it

💥 Performance‑driven – We don’t just remove pain; we build durable, adaptable athletes

💥 Virtual & accessible – Work with me from anywhere in the world

💥 No passive care – You’re an active participant in your progress

Everything I teach on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook — movement awareness, injury prevention, performance optimization — lives here too. This page is simply the foundation behind that message.

The Bigger Picture

My goal isn’t to keep you dependent on a provider.

My goal is to help you trust your body again, understand how to care for it, and build the confidence to train hard, recover well, and keep doing what you love for years to come.

If that resonates with you — you’re in the right place.

How We Can Work Together

If you’ve made it this far, chances are you’re not looking for generic advice — you’re looking for clear direction, structure, and a plan that actually fits your body.

Here are the main ways athletes choose to work with me:

1. Coaching & Corrective Programming

For athletes who want individualized guidance.

This option is best if you’re dealing with recurring pain, inconsistent performance, or movement limitations and want a custom plan built around your sport, history, and goals. We assess how you move, identify imbalances, and apply targeted corrective and performance-based training.

👉 Best for long-term change and accountability

2. Educational Guides & Programs

For athletes who want to learn and self-apply.

My guides break down movement, injury prevention, and performance in a clear, practical, science-backed way — so you understand not just what to do, but why it works. These are ideal if you like autonomy but want reliable structure.

👉 Best for self-driven athletes

3. Gait Analysis

For runners who want objective insight.

Gait analysis helps identify inefficient patterns, asymmetries, and load issues that often contribute to pain or stalled performance. From there, you’ll receive specific movement and strength recommendations to support healthier, more efficient running.

👉 Best for runners dealing with recurring injuries or plateaus

No matter where you start, the goal is the same: build understanding, restore balance, and help your body perform the way it’s capable of performing.

Ready to Move Forward?

If your training feels inconsistent, pain keeps resurfacing, or you’re unsure how to progress without breaking down, the next step isn’t another random exercise or quick fix.

It’s understanding how you move, where your imbalances are, and how to train your body more efficiently — so strength, performance, and resilience actually carry over to real life and sport.

Whether that starts with coaching, an educational guide, or gait analysis, the goal is the same: clarity, confidence, and long-term progress.
