In-Depth Consultation
During the 40min video consult Dr. Heather will be addressing your fitness/wellness goals and how to help you achieve your optimal performance throughout the year. We will go over how to set realistic goals, your nutritional needs, how to keep you accountable and focused on hitting your ultimate goal.
Gait Analysis
This is a 30 min video assessment session with me where I will breakdown your gait to help give you more insight into your running gait. Prior to the meeting I will have reviewed all the videos of you running. We will also assess your gait after 4 weeks into the program and again after 12 weeks into the program to where additional improvements can be made to help your running performance.
Functional Movement Screening (FMS)
This is a 30min assessment of your biomechanics and will help determine your muscle imbalances. The FMS is key in getting you faster. This will be an in person assessment which will aid in customizing your training schedule to make sure the correct "corrective" exercises are given and utilized on the right days within your training schedule. You will receive additional videos here to ensure that you know how to execute each corrective exercise to help fix those muscle imbalances.
1x a week virtual sessions w/Dr. Heather (16 sessions)
All of the session are virtual as we will be going over specific exercises and show you things using a TRX/Sandbag/or RIP trainer. Using more functional fitness tools will help in correcting those muscle imbalances as well as increasing your flexibility/mobility which is another key in running faster. Any videos of exercises that you will need to perform on your own, you will have access too inside the training portal.
Customized Training Schedule
This is 100% customized to you! Your training schedule will have your running schedule mapped out based on upcoming run events to ensure that your goals are met. This will also include any recovery programs that I design for you as well. It will also have specific strength programs based on what you have access to ie home gym, gym or no equipment. You will also be given the swimming program to help increase ankle strength and mobility.
Nutrition Coaching
We will spend time each week discussing nutrition as well. You will come to see that eating carbs are not the answer to successfully completely long distance events but fat and protein. We will dive deeper into this come month two as you begin to run faster and longer distances. This will also help your recovery time post race where you will not have that extra build up of lactic acid in the body which creates all the muscle soreness you hear people speak of after they complete their first marathon
Educational Videos on Nutrition
Most of us know what to eat but it's good to have basic understanding of why nutrition is such a key component in our over all success. Dr. Heather has put together 6 short educational nutrition videos which goes over the basics when it comes to nutrition. Think of these videos as your crash course in nutrition.
Educational Videos on Creating Healthy Habits
Dr. Heather believes strongly that we should be able to live our lives without restrictions. These short videos are designed to help you have a better understanding on how to live a balanced life. Dr. Heather believes by creating healthy habits we can begin to understand how to achieve a full life without restricting our food or the things we love most.

24/7 Support and Communication w/Dr. Heather
Thanks to the rise of the Pandemic, Dr. Heather has also been able to provide continuous care for many patients via her virtual platform. Dr. Heather constructed a 3 week Virtual Sports Chiropractic Program which has been able to help thousands of people globally in becoming pain free. By using various digital platforms patients are able to use her treatment protocols which are customized to each individual.
Dr. Heather’s coaching approach is strongly informed by her targeted research and personal experiences in striving to use exercise to enhance stamina. She has purposefully had long experience working with other medical professionals to address the needs of frail elderly patients and youth dealing with physical limitations and/or mental/emotional rehabilitation issues and physical education needs.
Having redesigned the Keene State Women’s Basketball pre-, post-, and in-season training program, Dr. Heather also developed training programs for the local high school and collegiate swimmers. She has treated and assisted with the sport-specific training of equestrians, ballerinas, lacrosse and soccer players (including the Connecticut Women’s Soccer League), and marathoners as well as athletes who sole goal is striving to function at optimal health and performance levels.
A board member Kids in Crisis, Heather has personally trained all of the fundraising tri-athletes for the annual Kids in Crisis Triathlon for years.
We ask that a 30 day written notification be given if you wish to cancel your membership. There are no refunds on the prior months used and any future payments will be stopped.
Everything is done based on your schedule and time zone for the private sessions. We try to be as accommodating as possible. All group training is pre-scheduled and there are no replays for the live trainings.
Yes. We require written notification (email or text) at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
If you are on the monthly plan, your credit card will be saved on file and charged on according to the payment schedule. All invoices and receipts are sent via email from Ask Doctor Heather, LLC. If you make the one time payment no further payment will be required.
One month prior to your membership ending, Dr. Heather's team will reach out to you asking for feedback and what you would like to do once the program has ended. If you choose not to continue on for another 4 months or enter into a different program, you will no longer have access to certain programs, features, and courses within this program.
